A painted Federal period hygrometric architectural Weather-house with tall chimney stacks and a balustraded roof surmounted with urns. The house (apart from the missing flag-pole) in completely untouched original condition, has painted brickwork and quoined corners with glass glazed segmentally-arched windows. Within the two principal arches to the ground floor peg-doll male and female figures indicate levels of humidity, the male figure prominent when it is damp and the female when it is dry.
