Antique Oak & Country Furniture

A Painted Child’s Chair

The charm of this vernacular child’s chair is characterised in part by the severe rake to its rear legs. While it’s black paint is showing sides of wear, revealing the rich colour of its oak & ash timber.   Its 2” thick seat demarcates its robust form, though it is an infant seat – surely its sturdy construction will stand the test of time.
