An exceptional pair of English fruit-wood punch ladles cut from the solid, having wavy handles and spurs to the reverse side, a pair which remain in untouched original condition.
A very similar pair are illustrated in Owen Evan-Thomas’ Book ‘Domestic utensils of wood’ page 123 plate 48.
