A Large Late 17th Century Pewter Charger | Archive

A large Pewter charger being twenty and one quarter inches in diameter and having a pleasant and undisturbed colour and patination. Its touch marks to the rear being very faint but surmounted by three castles the central one being larger than the other two. It bears a very good set of ownership marks although the hall marks are up for translation. If you click on the hall marks you will be able to see them through our closer zoom.
