A painted Sopwith Crocodile 1919

A painted child’s pull-along crocodile which when in motion has a gaping mouth and a wagging tail. It has a patent application stamp to its base No. 5905/19. Which leaves me with the slightly sentimental notion that it could have been made by a serviceman returning from the great-war, for his son.

Condition: Substantial paint loses to the base, its tail restored.
