A Whale-Oil Lantern
A very pretty configurated globe-lantern of accentuated tapering form,
possessing a highly unusual octagonal bulbous glass – the lantern
original in its entirety – its component parts constructed of tin,
glass and brass. The surface of the tin very pleasing to the eye.
